The Great Migration
A vast herd of up to two million wildebeest and zebra marches in one continuous 1,000km loop — from Tanzania's Southern Serengeti north into the Central and Western Serengeti, across the chaotic Mara River and into Kenya's Masai Mara, and back again. Every Miguu expedition is timed to meet them at the right place, at the right moment.

Our Story
Miguu means "feet" in Swahili — because every journey begins with your feet, the moment they touch the earth. There's a second meaning we love just as much: when Charles proposed the name we agreed in an instant — in Cebuano, Migu means friend, short for Amigo. It just clicked. With Miguu, you journey with friends, old and new.
In 2023, Tanzanian safari expert Charles Mpanda joined Filipino adventurers Dondi & Corinne Joseph and Michael to turn a chance meeting on the Serengeti into something extraordinary — four founders, one shared love of the wild.
Today we curate safaris that go beyond travel — connecting people to wildlife, culture, and purpose, while supporting local communities across Tanzania.

Witnessing 8,000 wildebeest calves born in a single morning was unlike anything we've ever experienced. Charles positioned us perfectly — we felt like we were part of the wild, not just watching it.
